We found a large flock of pigeons on our way to a neighborhood shop.

Beka wanted a picture, but they would start to fly away as she got closer, and we didn't want any moments from The Birds.

Doug said he had never had quiche. So Beka made some.

thievery corporation with seu jorge

We went to our new favorite picnic spot for dinner during the Thievery Corporation with Seu Jorge. After some gin and tonic, Doug developed a game where he threw sticks into a knot in the tree. He wasn't quite as awesome at this as he said he was.

We've been here long enough that we really shouldn't be surprised at anything in New York. Even still, as the sun went down and we saw a man walking a cat through the park. I think we were more surprised by the cats reaction -- it was happy and actually walking, not being dragged. Thats a step above our cats...

eva enchanted

After a dinner of alfredo, pasta, and homemade italian breadsticks, we sat down to watch our Netflix movie, Enchanted. It turned out to have lots of chipmunk and pigeon noises which sent Eva on a chase around our TV trying to hunt "it".

central park

We went to the park for a concert and then found out that the venue wouldn't allow our bottle of wine inside. So we didn't go in either.

We ended up finding a nice canopy to sit under while we listened to the music.

morningbell returns

Morningbell was back again for a show in NY.

ikea brooklyn

We went out to the new Brooklyn Ikea. We took the water taxi back to Manhattan... much better than the train to bus option...

two years

We celebrated our two year anniversary. We went out to dinner at a sidewalk cafe, a walk in Central Park, ice cream, and a walk in Riverside Park.
