After 2 Old Year's Night Services and carefully avoiding all things having to do with Times Square, we got home to a bottle of chilled champagne (given to us as a gift). Realizing we didn't really like champagne that much, we went for the brunch classic -- mimosas. And Eddie Izzard. And Eddie Izzard and Mimosas.

beka joined in on a card swap -- you get 4 other strangers names and addresses and send them a handmade card. she made 2 designs, one collage, next collage and thread. 
kim visited ny before thanksgiving and we went for some bbq and catching up. these are all her pictures. when we went home, beka's cheeks and lungs hurt from laughing so hard together. it was awesome. 
We were wandering the upper east side and found a pet shop... that had 4 bulldogs. Including one named "jiggler" because of what he does when he gets excited.
Moogie requested getting ny style pizza while she was visiting. So we took her to a favorite in our old neighborhood -- Koronet. Her slice really was bigger than her head and plain cheese is just 3.50 a slice.
