a better attempt

After a not-so-exciting anniversary, we went for dinner and a movie later in the week -- much better and very lovely.

Doug and I celebrated another anniversary... we did things we thought would make a lovely afternoon... one of the best parts was probably visiting Fishs Eddy, where we got these additions to our kitchen.

Now that we live in a place where the sun shines...

we can grow a little garden outside our kitchen windows.

we went to a local restaurant and decided to order a couple mojitos. we were surprised when the waiter then goes, "of course, let me just pick the mint right here..."

and they were delicious.

The cats got bling... just in case they make their way outside... and to help with an upcoming project from Doug.

since we've seen morningbell once or twice, okay, every summer we've been in the city and various other times... it was time to show something other than just some pictures of the concert...
