Doug was following the Dolphins game online and busted out the rally cap.

borders

Doug found the "Crazy Cat Lady" Action Figure. (Not really sure if the quotes are better placed around action figure or crazy cat lady.)

And Doug got a new book... The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible.

And kities kept watch from afar.

happy birthday

This is Sam.

Beka and Sam play together on Thursdays.

This week he saw Beka's phone and said, "Picture of Samy on phone!! Picture!!" It took a minute before he was still enough.

Today Sam is 2.

newness

Magic Hat Seasonale -- Roxy Rolles.

Doug said it tastes like it looks, grease, road dust, and metal.

It was abruptly hoppy, but had a good finish.

We both liked it by the end of the glass.

shenanigins

It's getting cold... time to bundle.

This is Merton. He was 'helping' Beka at work (in reality he was playing with Beka's pen).

And he is about as huge as he looks in the picture.

deli kitties

There's a kittie family that live across the street at the deli...

They're super cute and playful — so naturally Doug and I stood watching them and laughing at the kittens...

weeeeeekeenddd!!

Pushkin was helping Beka get ready for teaching on Sunday...

Eva just looked cute...

And Doug laughed at Beka for drawing Pushkin and Eva in the Day 6 bubble where God creates humans and animals.

(This is the activity that they did)

So Beka laughed at Doug when he called his hood the foyer and lobby of his hoodie...

And then when he dressed as the Trader Joe's Pope and his blessing looked more like a kung fu move...

All pictures courtesy of Beka's new keeper.

Rosie the riveter, Mike, and 2 robots walk into a pub...

Eva was helping Doug paint...

Beka was Rosie the Riveter.

Doug was Mike from Mystery Science Theatre.

Our wonderful host that takes care of us each week, Carolina and her husband Dan.
Doug managed to win most obscure erudite costume which meant a $15 gift certificate to a local grocery store.

Beka managed to win for the costume that most represented Union's values and a $20 gift certificate to the same local grocery store.

Mason won first place with his baby Jesus costume... absolutely awesome! ↓

With a snarling professor Snape →

And Jerry as Jeremy Kirk ↓

Joe was the Bran in Raisin Bran (there were two raisins running around too!)

So this was really funny when it happened... but the picture makes no sense now. →

We liked the guy who dressed as a Mormon and then handed these out to people...
