We finally did it. All the talks about wanting a wii, when Beka's tax refund came, we threw part of it back into the economy and bought something we've wanted. We also got the wii fit. We made Mii's for a couple of people besides ourselves -- Moogie and Nikki.
Things we've learned:
- Eva gets distracted by the mouse on the screen and the wrist strap on the remote.
- Beka can beat Doug in bowling
- Doug can beat Beka at Super Hula Hoop (700+)
- Doug can't do much else after he beats Beka at Super Hula Hoop
- The kitties get distracted and confused by some games -- like the running one...
- Beka gets a big thrill out of boxing - like giggly and has yet to loose a fight. Doug is scared.
- Moogie is good at Baseball.
- We've already used the wii more than the gym membership we tried when we lived in Morningside Heights.

If you do a quick search, you can find some pretty good Mii design sites. I've got the entire cast of The Office and the main cast of The Golden Girls on my Wii. It's pretty great playing Wii baseball with Betty White and Rainn Wilson...
